(More customer reviews)I purchased 2 of these theme decks and have found both of them challenging to play and educational in terms of strategy. Pokémon is not just a simple kids game. It has evolved into a complex strategy like many of the other card games. If you have discounted it because of the stigma that it is for little kids, you might want to buy a couple of these decks and try playing them!
For this particular deck, I have played it a few times now, and managed to grasp the concept of how it works. It took me only a few short hands to dispatch my nephew, who was playing with his own relatively normal deck. Looking at the card list will not do this deck justice, you have to really think about how the cards interact. No spoilers here, give it a try!
