(More customer reviews)Alright, I'll start this off by saying you pretty much get exactly what is described. I'll break it down:
"100 cards of mint to good condition. These cards are a mix of energies, trainers, commons, uncommons, foreign, and good graded cards that don't make the cut for our other packs. There are even some holos, rares, promos, and 1st editions in there too that didn't make the cut."
Condition: I'd say 99% of these cards are in great or better condition. There is one card I received with a bit of a rolled edge, but the rest seem practically new to the eye and touch.
Cards: Of the 100, 49 cards are completely unique (as in, no card name duplication in any way). 13 of the cards I received were identical duplicates, with starly lv. 5 and shellos east sea both yielding 3. I had another 9 duplicate cards otherwise, but those are after the "Lv. X" started being applied (example: I received three chatots, a lv. 27, a lv. 30, and a lv. 49), so I suppose technically those aren't duplicates.
I received around 12 trainers and 5 energy cards. I don't really have a problem with this, and was actually kind of hoping for more energy because my decks could use it.
I did not receive any holos, rares, foreign cards, or promos, but there are a few first editions sprinkled in. As mentioned, they are in great condition. The remainder of the cards were all commons and uncommons.
The cards come from pretty much every series between the original base series to (as far as I can tell) at least the diamond/pearl series. Admittedly, I was looking for cards from the Gym Leader series and prior, and only really know card series names from that time, but a majority of these cards seem to be from that point forward. I received a few cards each from the base, jungle, fossil, and base 2 series. The picture may be a bit misleading. Part of the reason I chose this seller was because the picture showed more of the older cards. A better description of what you will actually receive probably wouldn't hurt, at least as far as what series they will come from.
All in all, it just comes down to getting what you order. I was expecting some duplicates, but maybe not quite to the quantity I received them.
I'd say the cards in here can help build a solid foundation if you're looking to possibly start a new deck or just simply expand your collection. If you're looking for more powerful or rarer cards, you'll probably want to go elsewhere.
